Main attractions: Modernity and tradition.

Characteristics: This region is the most modern, commercial, industrial and financial center of the country, highlighting São Paulo/SP and Rio de Janeiro/RJ. Also important because of the big quantity of historical cities since the colonization of Brazil, like Ouro Preto/MG, Mariana/MG, Petropolis/RJ, among others.

When visit: All year. In February/march happens the main Brazilian popular party, the Carnival.

Carry: Casual and comfortable clothes and shoes, sunblock, hat and camera.
